Sandal Security Services, with a long-standing relationship with the Diocese, was entrusted to upgrade the fire system at Wakefield Cathedral, a historic site boasting Yorkshire’s tallest spire. During a recent refurbishment, our team installed a fully automated fire aspiration system, a high-tech air sampling solution providing efficient early smoke detection across a larger area. The intricate two-year project prioritized discreet installation to preserve the cathedral’s historic stone core, with close collaboration with stonemasons ensuring the site’s conservation while providing optimal fire protection.
A trusted, long-term client, Accord Multi Academy Trust, required an extension of their fire and security systems to newly built classroom outbuildings at two of their school sites. We provided a seamlessly integrated solution, ensuring both legal compliance with BAFE-approved fire systems and enhanced security through NSI Gold-approved intruder alarms. The successful project further solidified our strong, ongoing partnership with the Trust.
Contracted by PMW Property, we delivered a comprehensive security solution for two new, large-scale industrial units, totaling 145,000 square feet in Uttoxeter. Meeting the client’s specific insurance requirements, we designed and installed an NSI Gold-certified Intruder Alarm and CCTV system. The project was completed efficiently, providing the client with a fully secured and remotely monitored site, further strengthening our valued customer relationship.
Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP), a renowned international center for modern and contemporary sculpture set within a 500-acre 18th-century estate, entrusted Sandal Security with the critical task of securing its valuable art collection and grounds. Recognizing the significant worth and cultural importance of the artwork by artists like Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore, Sandal Security implemented bespoke fire, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems across the entire YSP site.
